We are looking for Overall Construction Manager to join our client.
Responsibilities:

·Be the extended arm locally for the Civil Work for the complete Project, reporting to the Civil Project Manager

·Overall responsible for the Installation and Commissioning on all sites reporting to the Local PMs and the PD

·Be responsible for the Local budget delegated respectively by the Civil Project Manager and the Local PMs for Installation and Commissioning.
·Overall Management of labour force resources, via subcontractors

·Overall Management of all Site Managers and Site Supervisors in coordination with the Civil Project Manager for Civil Work and with the “Local PMs” for Installation and Commissioning

·Responsible for the follow up of all Sub-contracts: commercially, manpower resources , progress, quality, safety etc, reporting to the Civil Project Manager for Civil Work and to the “Local PMs”and PD for Installation and Commissioning

·Initiate meetings necessary and be responsible that minutes of meetings will be taken incl. activity lists.

·Reporting of production activities and progress to PD, Civil Project Manager and the Local PMs.

·Approval of monthly Progress Report to be attached to the Subcontractors Invoice

·Attest the Civil and Installation Drawings before execution

·Keep overall document control lists updated with latest versions and approval status

·Make sure that all additional costs are immediately presented to the customer and Suppliers/Contractors via PD

·Secure compliance to ABB policies

Requirements:

·10-15 years experience in EHV and HV substations with experience of structural engineering and site management preferably of UAE projects

Our Client has an need for a Construction Project Scheduler/Planner for construction project located near SZR, Dubai. The ideal candidate will have solid construction project scheduling experience on construction projects, Commercial, residential and High- rise towers. The client prefers candidates with a BS degree in Construction or Engineering, but will consider all applicants that meet the skill set. at least 5 years experience in a similar role and some Gulf Knowledge is essential. You need to be proficient with using & creating schedules in Primavera P5 and P6. You will be expected to run reports using Primavera software from updated contractor's schedules. You will also coordinate with and expedite contractor's schedule updating efforts.
